In the AA skin I feel like Batman is a Body Builder in Armor, a virtual powerhouse, even my cape has muscles and armor! He looks SICK, but is he Batman?
As a result, I have a compulsion to come down on the armed convicts with no regard for strategy or thought like bata-hammer! In a flurry of batarangs and punches, supported by button-mashing, x-ray vision and a trusty “incoming punch lighting indicator” I gain victory, although a sloppy one, over the “cowardly lot”, it was easy, but was it Batman?
It wasn’t until I purchased the Skin Pack and chose the Year One Skin I realized the answers to my question was a resounding “No”.
When I circled the camera around the Year One skin I was met with a stark vulnerability in this interpretation. Staying true to Frank Miller’s Interpretation, this Bat was in spandex, donned a lighter cape, a leaner physique, and conservative “ears” with eyes cold, yet human somehow.
He’s frame was more of a gymnast or martial artist and less like the Son of Krypton, nothing like a tank.
I think it would be extremely fun if PlayStation were to create an extra Batman skin for Arkham City for players to use: Man-Bat. It could be the same height as the others, just that it is basically a vampire Batman. I believe most Batfans would have total fun with this suggestion. Please keep this as a suggestion PlayStation. Thank you
