Here are my thoughts of Nightwing.
Combat:
His combat speed is faster than Batman and sometimes, I think he is faster than Catwoman. He has a very unique fighting style and all of his movements are very smooth.
Weaponary:
His Escrima Sticks are his main weapons and there is a lot you can do with them too. He has a batarang (Wing-Ding), it is a lot bigger than a batarang, and it also does the samething. His wrist darts is like no other weapon you have used. It goes to first person view, it stuns the thug, and if you get a headshot. It is a takedown. He does have other weapons, but they are the same as Batman.
Maps:
There are 2 maps with Nightwing. Wayne Manor Armory and Wayne Manor Hall. Wayne Manor Armory is just your normal combat map, it does like nice though. Wayne Manor Hall is probably one of my favorite maps so far. There are a lot of places to go to and the map is big. It is also designed with Catwoman in mind. It is a beautiful, well thought, and well designed map. I could easy picture Wayne Manor Hall looking like that.
Nightwing is must if you are a Batman fan and like to play the challenge maps.

WoW. Really? I waited for this? First of all, I don’t remember Nightwing being a mute, which is what you all made him by not giving him a voice actor. Secondly he looks more like he has tourette’s with his constant eye winking and twitching. His combat though while smooth also seemed to be too generic and I couldn’t figure out if I should be relying more one the fact his strength came more from the Escrima Sticks or the electricity that I never remember his Escrima’s having in any of the comics. Absolute waste of money considering you get a junk hero to play and only two maps added to try out.

When I first downloaded the Nightwing pack and started playing in the challenge maps, I immediately regretted my purchase. He felt so awkward and clunky! But once I got used to how he handles, I actually had a lot of fun. Once who get used to Nightwings different feel, playing as this blue-suited hero is a blast! He can also jump really far, which is a nice touch, considering how Dick Grayson used to be a gymnast.

I’ve been looking forward to Nightwing ever since he was first announced and he didn’t disappoint. His combat style is fast and fluid, a nice balance between Robin and Catwoman, and his gadgets are a solid mix between old Batman favorites like the line-launcher and Batclaw along with cool new toys like the wrist darts and electric shockwave.
I will admit I wish he had a third costume like Catwoman and Robin do since I’m not a big fan of the animated series costumes but he’s still probably my new favorite character to play is in the challenge maps and the two new Wayne Manor maps are just the icing on the cake, well done all around.
My first thought of Nightwing was I wish he was in the story I thought his moves were better than batman but I like the fact that he is faster. Even compared to Cat Woman and Robin. Overall though it is nice to switch it from the Dark Knight to other heroes for a change of pace. The only choice you had in AA was B-Man and the Joker. Arkham City is Awesome hopefully there will be a third
when i first bought nightwing it was wired i liked him but disliked him hes differnt but then when i got used to his differnt feel to the gameplay. i loved him he dosnt have the bruit strenghth of batman and the agile speed of cat women but his own feel and he’s definatly distincly nightwing. great job definatly gonna buy robin.
The Nightwing pack isn’t bad by any means whatsoever. Though, I do agree that he should have had a voice actor and some actual gameplay within the story line. I would’ve loved to have seem him face a few baddies on the streets of AC and maybe even go up against a boss or two. At the very least, make a code so that players can have the option to change to all of the DLC characters instead of just the Bat and the Cat. But, as far as the mechanics of the character, two thumbs way up.
I really think that Nightwing Is incredible, he has his own fighting style which is very fluid and easy to use with great counters, I fiend the use of the Escorial sticks very essential and when you throw one around the room, it is very powerful.

Hey I just wanted to know how can I walk Arkham City with nightwing. I wanna use him in combat if its possible. I wish he had a story mode like the Cat.

Blood haven and his story to be like the batman and make him proud along with his love life with the former bat girl makes it a added crazy big screen feel to his already bad ass.

AS A LIFE LONG BATMAN FAN, IT’S NICE TO SEE A NEW LOOK AND FEEL ON THE ICONS I’VE COME TO KNOW AND LOVE. BOTH ASYLUM AND CITY IMPRESSED ME WITH THEIR CONTENT AND FOR THE LOVE THEY PUT INTO THE MATERIAL. I COULDN’T WAIT TO GET BOTH NIGHTWING, AND ROBIN AND SINCE I DID, THEY’VE BECOME MY FAVORITE ASPECT OF ARKHAM CITY. MY ONLY CONCERN WAS THE ABSENCE OF A VOICE FOR EITHER DICK OR TIM. BEYOND THAT, I WAS THRILLED WITH THE UNIQUE EXPERIENCE FROM BOTH, BUT WITH DICK IN PARTICULAR. HIS NATURAL AGILITY STAYS TRUE TO HIS BACKGROUND, AND HIS MOVES ARE SO FLUID AND BLINDING, A COMBO CAN GET AWAY FROM YOU IF YOU DON’T REMEMBER TO LEAVE SOMEBODY STANDING FOR THE CHAIN. NIGHTWING’S ARSENAL IS ALSO TRUE TO HIS STYLE. IN SHORT, DESPITE THE ODD LACK OF V/O TALENT, NIGHTWING PLAYS SO SMOOTH, YOU CAN ALMOST HEAR THE 10 YEAR OLD BOY WONDER INSIDE YOURSELF HAVING A BLAST.

I think that rocksteady could have given nightwing his ability to glide… Because if u remember in the animated series he could glid using his arm-pitt thingees…

Oh… And if u want a cheat code for arkham city… here it is… Its to get big head batman… get the cryptographic sequencer out, hold down R2, L2, R1, and L1 all together, while u do that turn the right stick clock-wise and the left stick counter clock-wise.. it will take a few seconds and then u can go kick some butt with a big head batman… this also works for catwoman… if u can find a switch spot
I’m a little disappointed that Nightwing can only be used in the challenge maps. Even without a mini-mission in Arkham City, a “free roam” option wouldn’t have been hard to include. Otherwise, great job done.
